- Keeping the main body of the 1898 house pretty much as it is, but adding modern plumbing and electrics, a bathroom, new insulation and renovating the windows.
- Opening up the back of the house, with lots of big windows at the back of the house to let the light in (demonstrated through my amateurish colouring in).
- The back of the house ("kitchen annexe") will be completely re-built from the foundations, with a handy gardening/utility room underneath.
- Here you can see the kitchen again through a different cut, and the floor-to-ceiling bookcase in the middle room.
- The kitchen will be quite modern, in contrast to the rest of the house.
